Who We Are

dr. ej zebro ccsp
Founder/performance therapist
EJ Zebro brings over 25 years of expertise in teaching the art of functional movement. His journey began at The University of Delaware, where he pursued a degree in Exercise Science while playing D1 soccer. As a certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), EJ further honed his abilities working as a strength and conditioning coach for over two decades. Through his hand-on approach to working with clients, EJ developed the proprietary TAP fascial manipulation methodology, the foundation for TAP's approach to increasing physical performance and fostering a deep sense of body awareness. This approach has proven to decrease the rate of injury while expediting recovery time. EJ is passionate about helping his clients TAP IN to their internal experience and TAP OUT to understand how their bodies move through time and space. His goal is to help individuals thrive through all stages of life and to help others heal themselves.
Lauren Leppla cscs
OWNER/performance COACH
Lauren holds a BS in Environmental Science from New York University, where she participated in the NYU Triathlon Team. While she initially found fulfillment working for a residential real estate developer, her true passion has always revolved around outdoor fitness and adventure. With numerous marathons under her belt, a few Ragnar Relays, and multi-day hikes in the wilderness, Lauren's determination to pursue her passion led her to join TAP in operations. Concurrently, she embarked on obtaining her NSCA certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She quickly became integral to the success of TAP, and soon after joined EJ as a Partner in the business. Most recently, Lauren has become certified as a Women’s Coaching Specialist. Her goal is to help her clients stay fit and strong so they too can follow their passions.

Michael studied Physical Education in the Human Performance and Sports Science department at Winston-Salem State University while playing collegiate baseball. Following graduation, Michael joined a non-profit that provided assistance for children and families in crisis. During his eight years tenure, Michael developed a strong passion for helping others, but wanted to refocus his energy to the area of fitness and wellness. After becoming a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Stretch Therapist, Michael discovered the perfect synergy at TAP. Here, he found the opportunity to combine his desire to assist others with his devotion to fitness. His commitment lies in empowering those he works with to embrace healthy and active lifestyles, fostering a sense of confidence in their abilities. Michael firmly believes in the transformative power of proper movement, recognizing it as a potent form of medicine.
